Jason and Theresa Gowin are wonderful people to work with and are very friendly.  We highly recommend Gowin Parc to anyone with Alzheimer’s.  The residents are treated with dignity and respect and are not forced to do anything.  The staff talks to them quietly and with patience and directs them to do what they need or should do.  If a problem arises between residents, they defuse the situation in a calm manner.  The staff finds activities that interest the residents and will supervise these activities instead of leaving them on their own.  At the nursing home those with Alzheimers were left alone a great deal of the time and they received very little attention from the staff.  We like the treatment our families receive when we visit.  The facilities are always clean and the food is good.  It is a wonderful place.
